Overview of Interfacing Microcontrollers With External Devices:
Single microcontroller can not be useful until it is connected with any device as per application needs. It can not solve our purpose until it is connected with any external device, example suppose we want to create temperature logger we need temperature sensor, serial eeprom and RS232 port. Only single microcontroller can not do anything. Microcontrollers are the most useful if we are going to interface or to start communicating with this to external world or any device. A Microcontrollers can be connected to the the electronic analog or digital devices example such as sensors, motors, switches, keypads, displays, LCDs, LEDs, memory and even other microcontrollers.
